I finished my AT hike on August 13th and have decided to continue my blog. This thing called life is more than just a single, isolated adventure. Life, like the AT, is like a trip to the moon and back on gossamer wings.

The "Beautiful Brown James" River is actually named after my Native American grandfather Mr. James R. Foot, who was first to bridge it. He, sadly, had a full skin transplant and was never heard from again.
